Achaea (Greek: Αχαΐα - Achaïa), is a region in the northwestern part of the Peloponnese.

Cities
- Patra 📍 — Capital of the region and the third largest city in Greece. Pretty nondescript city. Main point of arrival for ferries from Italy and Ionian islands.
- Akrata 📍 — A town and former municipality in Achaea.
- Diakofto 📍 — The coastal town is the starting point of a rack railway, ending up at Kalavryta through the gorge of Vouraikos and the village of Zachlorou 📍. The uphill journey takes around 1 hour.
- Kalavryta 📍 — A historic town built on the slopes of Mt. Helmos
Other destinations
- Ancient Aigeira 📍 — A very interesting but less known to tourists archaeological site set atop a mountain overlooking the Corinthian Gulf and including a well preserved ancient theater, described in detail by geographer Pausanias.
- Kalogria Beach 📍 — A famous beach beside Patras Araxos Airport.
- Loggos 📍 — A village very close to Aigio.
