Belfield is a city located on the eastern edge of the North Dakota Badlands.
Belfield (population 800) is a small city in Stark County, North Dakota and only 15 minutes from Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Belfield boasts hotels and restaurants and multiple city parks for residents and tourists to enjoy. Belfield was founded in 1883, and has seen many boom and busts in this oil rich part of North Dakota.
Belfield is located at the intersection of Interstate 94 and US Highway 85. I-94 is a major interstate highway that runs east-west across the state, use exit 42.
A private car is a necessity.
