Central Henan is the central part of Henan, China. It includes the prefecture-level cities of Zhengzhou, Xuchang and Luohe.
Zhengzhou (郑州) — The provincial capital. One of the Eight Ancient Capitals of China.
Xuchang (许昌) — The place where Cao Cao rises. Its subordinate county-level city Yuzhou is famous for porcelain production.
Luohe (漯河) — Famous for food industry. The template of the Chinese collective economy — Nanjiecun is located here.
Yuzhou (禹州) — Jun Porcelain (均窑) and Shenhou Ancient Town (神垕古镇).
Zhengzhou is the main railway hub of China and can be reached from every corner of China. Xuchang and Luohe are located on Jingguang Railway and Jingguang High-speed railway, one of the busiest railways and high-speed railways of China, respectively.
All the three cities can be reached by bus from the other cities in Henan Province.
Zhengzhou Xizheng International Airport (IATA: CGO) is the hub airport of this region as well as the whole Henan Province.
