undefined Cerro Colorado (officially Dr Alejandro Gallinal) is a town in the Central Interior of Uruguay, located on Route 7, about 142 kilometres northeast of Montevideo, 90 kilometres from the department capital of Florida. It is a really small town, home to 1,357 people.

A chapel located in Cerro Colorado. The town's major sights include the big clock, which casts its melody every hour, 24 hours a day. It was constructed in Holland, commissioned by Dr Alberto Gallinal in 1960. There is also a beautiful theatre nearby, which is frequently used for celebrating traditional events. There is also a chapel in the town.
