Charsadda is in Northwest Pakistan.
Charsadda lies at an attitude of 908 feet in the Valley of Peshawar. The town has three main flowing rivers: the Kabul River, Jindi River, and Swat River. It is headquarters of the Charsadda District.
The capital of Gandhara from the 6th century BCE to the 2nd century CE, Pushkalavati, was situated by what today is Charsadda. Ruins remain.
