Corquin is a rural town in the Copán department in western Honduras.
Corquin is not frequented by travelers. Members of the Peace Corps are the primary visitors to the area.
Two primary ways to enter the town are by taking a chicken bus from Santa Rosa de Copan or by hitchhiking. Hitchhiking is a common practice in rural Honduran areas.
You will be able to navigate through much of the town on foot.
There is a local farmer's market. Purchase some of the locally grown coffee beans.
There is an internet cafe in town.
