Couffouleux is a town in the Tarn department of southern France.
The history of Couffouleux is closely related to that of Rabastens. The village of 2,900 people (2018) was created in 1037, before the Hundred Years War. There are three churches in the city. Couffouleux is a Catholic village.
It is simple to get to Couffouleux because there is a train station 400 m from the centre (station Rabastens-Couffouleux).
By car, take exit n°7 from the A 68 (Toulouse-Albi) motorway.
You have also the possibility to go in the village with a taxi and you have the "passe pont" whose start at Rabastens and end at Couffouleux.
In the city of Couffouleux, you can see the bridge of Rabastens of 160 m. It is an arch bridge with upper deck. Next, you can visit the church of St Vaast, built in the 12th century, in large stone. After, you have the possibility to visit the church of St Victor, built in the Middle Age, too.
The village is an agricultural city; you can do just two activities. The first is "Air Ulm", an aerial visit open between 09:00 and 19:00 all week. The second is "Hedonist Motocycle". It is a visit of village in motorbike or a guided tour with a touristic guide.
The garden center of "Jamans" is popular for this variety of plants. You have one store of Jamens 1 km from the centre. It is open after 15:00.
In the city, you have just one restaurant at the center. It is the brewery The Week End, open all days between 07:00 and 19:30. There is a large variety of recipes. The food is not vey expensive and you can have a good time with your family in this brewery.
