The dive site Batfish Pinnacle is an inshore tropical rocky reef with some coral in the Guinjata Bay area, near Inhambane in Southern Mozambique.
This site is close to the launch site for Guinjata Bay resorts.
Near Pao Reef, just offshore from Guinjata Point.
The name "Batfish Pinnacle" refers to the Batfish that are often seen near the pinnacle.
Maximum depth is about 20m. and the top of the reef is about (depth)m. Average depth is likely to be about 14m.
Visibility can be up to about 20m
Stone Table reef with outlying boulders, sand bottom.
Water temperature may be about 25°C
The dive site is always accessed by boat.

Tridacna clam, green sponge, Torpedo ray, nudibranchs. Stonefish, Red armpit star, Octopus, yellow-orange wall sponge, thistle soft coral, white bowl sponge, Thornspine cowfish, Large anemones, Egg cowry, Colonial ascidians, Blocked starfish, Lizardfish, white feather hydroids, Toby, Powder blue surgeon, smooth blue star, White sponge, Domino, Giant anemone, brown wall sponge.
There is a little stone arch.
The topography is not very exciting, macro and close-up photography are likely to give good results.
