See
- Saroornagar, 17.35584°, 78.52714°. This lake is a pleasant space for young couples to spend their evening. It has large pedestrian spaces, and abundant lighting at night. One side of the lake is lined with a solid wall, with a two-lane undivided road on the wall which is neat and exciting to drive. A problem is 'eutrophication' which is caused due to water hyacinth. The lake smells sometimes, but that is the nature of any urban waterbody. An important event that takes place here is 'vinayakachaturthy', (a Hindu festival in which Lord Vinayaka's statues are immersed in water). All roads lead here on the day of the Lord Ganesh's nimajjanam.
- Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park, 17.34°, 78.585833°. The largest green space in Hyderabad. Inhabited by black buck, cheetal deer, reptiles, and many species of birds.
- Kapra Lake, 17.4963°, 78.5532°. Located close to A.S. Rao Nagar is famous for its idol immersion events during the Ganesh Puja festival.
