Kazungula is a small border town on the northern banks of the mighty river Zambezi in Zambia. It marks Zambia's border with three other countries: Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, and is a unique place where four national borders meet. Since 2021 there is a newly constructed bridge between Zambia and Botswana, but not Zimbabwe, although it is possible to access it by land east of the town.
The town used to support the huge road transit point for the former ferry terminal. Where trucks used to have to wait for up to two weeks before being able to cross the river.
It is not possible to take a picture of the bridge and the bordering countries from the Botswanan side but it is possible from the Zambian if you go to the old ferry port.
