Kohama (小浜) is a small island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, Japan.
Kohama is a small speck of an island under 8 km² in size, with a population of some 500 people. However, thanks to a large resort hotel and being the setting of NHK TV drama Churasan in 2001, it gets over 100,000 visitors yearly.
The ferry to and from Ishigaki runs about once an hour, takes 25 min, and costs ¥1,220 (one-way). Approximately one ferry per day goes to Taketomi and Iriomote.
