Lawson is a town of 2,600 people (2016) in the Blue Mountains near Sydney.
Lawson is near Hazelbrook and Bullaburra on the A32 road between Springwood and Wentworth Falls.
Blue Mountains Transit route 690K runs from Springwood to Katoomba via Lawson railway station.
Lawson is home to many different bushwalking tracks ranging from easy to hard. Bushwalks include Adelina Falls, Cateract Falls and echo bluff. Walkers must stay to tracks and look for cliffs.
Apart from bushwalks, Lawson is home to a skate park, BMX, a 50-m Olympic swimming pool and some small nature and play parks.
Lawson has a small supermarket, a hardware shop, a pub, a bakery, post office/newsagent to name a few. For better shopping go to Katoomba.
Lawson has one pub and one Bottle Shop located in the pub.
Lawson has one hotel and a few B&Bs. Katoomba has more range.
