Llanwrtyd Wells (Welsh: Llanwrtyd) is a small town in Brecknockshire.

- Man versus Horse race, Llanwrtyd Wells. A race to determine whether men or horses are better at running over mountainous terrain. As of 2021, it has only been won by men twice since it began in 1980. Held in June.
- Bog snorkelling championships, Llanwrtyd Wells. Over 150 bog snorkellers from around the world compete in late August.
