- Fairhaven Lake, 53.7379°, -3.0045°. Take a stroll around the picturesque Fairhaven Lake. Enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat in the accommodating cafe. There is a RSPB exhibition located here which is free entry. On a sunny day the grassy banks are an ideal place to enjoy a picnic, with great views over the Ribble estuary to Southport. 2020-03-12
- St Anne's Pier, 53.7496°, -3.0351°. The 600-ft (183-m) pleasure pier, built in 1885 as 914 ft long, but was shortened in 1982 following a fire and the then owners financial difficulties. The pier has a cafe and is lit at night. 2020-03-14
