Mashpee is in Massachusetts on Cape Cod. It includes the village of New Seabury. Purchased in 1660 to be a reservation for the Wampanoag tribe and later revoked and incorporated as a town. Until the 1960s, Wampanoags made up the majority of the population.
Compared to other Cape Cod towns, Mashpee does not have a lot of lodging.
