Murchison is a small township in New Zealand on SH6 between the West Coast and Nelson.
It has a small selection of cafes and restaurants.
Intercity coaches between Nelson and Greymouth stop here at the Beechwoods Cafe.
There is a tiny museum.
Whitewater rafting and kayaking on the Buller, Matiri, Mangles and Gowan rivers.
There are two small grocery stores, one a "Foursquare". There is one large Mobil filling station for fuels that has an LPG pump.
