Narriearra Caryapundy Swamp National Park is a relatively new national park in the north of Far West Outback New South Wales, established in 2021.
From Tibooburra, head east for 26 kilometres until the road becomes Narriearra Road. Once on Narriearra Road, continue for 19 kilometres.
Narriearra Caryapundy Swamp National Park has a fee of $8 per day. Spare some change, as most of these coin-operated pay and display machines don't accept card.
The fees should be paid off near the Caryapundy tank bird hide.
NSW Parks passes are valid in the park, which provide unlimited access to the park for a year or two years. The passes provide faster entry and are valid for 12/24 months from date of purchase. The fees per vehicle (as at 2021) are as follows:
There is also a fourth pass; the Single Park Pass, worth $22 for one year and $40 for two. This is just if you want to revisit this park again and again; to pay the fees off, you'll need to visit Narriearra Caryapundy Swamp at least three times for one year and five times for two years.
Nearest facilities are in Tibooburra.
In the unusual event that it rains inside the park, you should leave immediately. The roads are of such extreme poor quality that you may be stuck inside the park for three weeks.
