It was built for the Saltair beach resort, on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. It was brought to Nederland and lovingly restored by local sculptor Scott Harrison. Visitors can ride the original carousel animals, listen to the original organ music, go upstairs to see the original carousel gears at work, and indulge in some wonderful old-time Americana nostalgia. $1 to ride carousel, free for children under 1 with paying adult 2018-08-03
