Okahandja is a city of 24,00 in Otjozondjupa, and is colloquially known as the Garden town of Namibia.
Okahandja Railway Station is situated on the Windhoek—Swakopmund line, was built in 1902 during Imperial Germany's colonial rule of German South West Africa. As of 2021, it is part of the Trans-Namib railway network.
