Olive Branch is a city in the Mississippi Hills. It is a suburb of Memphis, just to the south of the Tennessee state line.
Olive Branch is home to the Mid-South Ice House, the only permanent indoor ice rink in Metro Memphis. The rink opened in 2011, replacing an earlier ice rink (the ice Chalet in the infamous Mall of Memphis) that opened in 1981 and closed in 2003.
Various roads link Olive Branch with Memphis. A highway with two designations (Interstate 22 and US Route 78) connects Olive Branch to Interstate 240 near Memphis International Airport, and continues on to reach downtown Memphis.
The Mid-South Ice House is home to the Figure Skating Club of Memphis.
