Owatonna is a city in Southern Minnesota.
Owatonna is the cultural, educational and commercial center for south central Minnesota and has many large businesses including Jostens, SPX, Truth Hardware, Cybex, Federated Insurance, Viracon and more. The city of just under 26,000 residents has a metro population of over 36,000. Owatonna's suburbs include Blooming Prairie, Medford and Ellendale.
Owatonna is located on Intersate 35, U.S. Highways 14 and 218. Along Interstate 35 is the Owatonna Denger Regional Airport.
Owatonna has the S.C.A.T. buses available for personal pick up, bike and walking trails and easy to navigate roads available for tourists and its people.
The Reptile Amphibian and Discovery (RAD) Zoo is also in Owatonna. It is one of the largest reptile zoos in the world and is home to one of the largest alligators in the world.
Owatonna has many good parks to visit and holds softball and baseball tournaments during the summer and spring.

Owatonna has many great restaurants available ranging from wings to ribs, to pizza and bagels.
Owatonna has bars downtown and other restaurants in the area serve beer as well.
The city has hotels located along I-35.
