Parras de la Fuente is a city in Coahuila. The town is known for its wine. It was the first wine growing region in the Americas. The town is a Pueblo Mágico, designated in 2004. Parras is called the oasis of the semi-desert of Coahuila state.
The town has 45,000 inhabitants and the elevation is 1,500 m.
There are two bus stations in the town:
Second class buses serve Parras from Saltillo and Monterrey.
Coming from Cuatro Ciénegas you need to change the bus in San Pedro Las Colonias.
