There are regular flights departing from Porto Alegre and Rio Grande.
By bus
From Porto Alegre, it is about 3 hours by bus. The Embaixador Express runs the Porto Alegre-Pelotas, Rio Grande-Pelotas line, among others.
By car
From Porto Alegre towards the south of the country along the federal highway BR 116. The route is approximately 260 km long. The stretch can be covered in about three hours, has several tolls, however, despite the tolls, the quality of the asphalt is not very good and few stretches are duplicated.

Security in the city is not very good, so always try to take a car or taxi when going out at night, or if you prefer to go out on foot or by bus, always go out with friends.

It has more technological intervention resources. It is open 24 hours a day and on weekends. They should be used in life-threatening cases, serious traffic accidents, involving orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and stroke (cerebrovascular accident, among others).
