Pergamino is an important city which is located in the northeast of Buenos Aires Province. People who live there got their main economic resources from the livestock raising and farming. Its fertile land produces good crops of wheat and corn (maize). In view of that, these lands have become very expensive.
When people arrive in Pergamino, the place that they visit is La Merced Square. There they can see the church and the town hall, whose buildings were both built with an interesting style. At weekends people who live in neighboring towns come to this nice city to enjoy its night life. But if you don’t like going nightclubbing, you can spend your time wandering around the bank of Pergamino’s stream.
