Port Royal is in the Alleghenies and Susquehanna Valley region of Pennsylvania.
Port Royal is a small town of about 1,000 residents situated where the Tuscarora Creek flows into the Juniata River in central Pennsylvania. For much of its history, the town primarily served the farming community that surrounded it. Transportation has had a great effect on the town. In addition to the river, the Tuscarora Mountains and farmland surround the town.
