Rot an der Rot is in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The town grew out of Rot an der Rot Abbey, a baroque abbey.
It takes thirty minuted to get to Rot an der Rot from Memmingen on A7, and hour and a half on the A8 from Stuttgart, and hour and a half on the A96 from Munich.
It is a really small village, so no reason to get a map. There are the walls of the abbey and the town outside.
Organ recitals are held in the Abbey Church every other weekend.
There is a supermarket outside town called Edeka.
There are two restaurants in the village, an Italian one with cheap but not bad pizza that you will recognize by the sign of a man, and one where the only hotel is that serves very good classic German Food. There is one bar, which is next to the entrance of the abbey in the abbey walls.
