Sardroud (Persian: سردرود, Azerbaijani: سردری) is a city of East Azerbaijan province, in the Azerbaijan region of Iran. Sardroud is one of the major cities of Tabriz county and is in the southwest of Tabriz county.
Most of the Sardroud residents consider themselves Iranian Azerbaijanis.
The majority of locals speak Turkish with a 'Sardroud' accent, and most people can also speak Farsi as a second language and Azerbaijani. Most of the young people of this city can speak English at an intermediate level.
