Saturn is a beach town in the Dobruja region of Romania that was built during the communist period.
Completed in 1972, the resort has two major beaches: Adras beach, located in the northern part of the resort, closer to Venus, and Diana beach in the south, located near the town of Mangalia.
Saturn is 1 km north of the city of Mangalia.
There is a train station in the central part of Mangalia. Constant connection with Constanta, less often with Bucharest and other cities.
Located on the road from Constanta to Mangalia. You need to get off the bus in front of the city. The nearest bus station is 1.5 km from the resort.
There are no attractions in Saturn, so it is recommended to walk to the city of Mangalia and visit the sights.
Eating is very cheap by western European standards.
The town is very noisy till late at night with disco and music bands.
There are a number of large, old fashioned concrete hotels that were built in the 1960s. Room rates are around €30.
One of the cheapest options is the private sector. At the entrance to Saturn, tourists are offered accommodation. As a rule, such people stand with a sign "Cazare".
