Shiroda is a village in the South Konkan coast of Maharashtra, Inida.
Shiroda has a pristine sea-shore. The beach with long stretch of sand is neat, clean and very less crowded. There are also few temples that can be visited. Shiroda is worth a visit for those who wish to getaway from day to day life to just relax for few days.
By Road Shiroda is around 10km from Vengurla and state highway MSH4 can be used to reach it. It can also be reached from Sawantwadi using state highway 123.
By Train Nearest train station is Sawantwadi around 25km from Malvan.

Shiroda or Shirodem is a village in Ponda Taluka in North Goa District. Interesting to note is that Shiroda village in Ponda has one of the three engineering colleges of Goa, which is Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Technology. It also has two medical colleges, the Ayurveda College & Research Centre and Shri Kamakshi Devi Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital.
Shiroda is very popular for its Kamakshi Temple (Devasthan). People flock to this temple on Amavasya (Umaas, in regional Konkani language) or New moon day. Every year on the day of Shivaratri a grand temple festival or Zatra (in Konkani language) is held which is attended by thousands of devotees from Goa as well as neighbouring Karnataka and Maharashtra.
