Titel is a town and surrounding municipality in Vojvodina, Serbia.
Titel has a population of roughly 6,000, and a municipality population around 17,000. Best known for the hill above the town—the dramatic outcropping of a fertile plateau to the north—and the road and rail bridges that cross the nearby Tisa River, Titel is an authentic Serbian town that seldom sees tourists.
By car, bus, or boat. The 50 km drive from Novi Sad is pleasant, particularly the section over the plateau. Titel is just 10 km up the Tisa from its confluence with the Danube.
Titel's centre, on and around Glavna Ulica east of Zmaj Jovina Ulica, is small enough to navigate on foot. The hill, plateau, and river are all easily explored by foot or bicycle.
Most shopping is concentrated around the east end of Glavna, including a well stocked supermarket.
