Trebisacce is a town in Calabria. It has around 9000 inhabitants and lies at the Ionian Sea. It has a pretty relaxed atmosphere, is surrounded by olive trees, and has very friendly inhabitants. Walking around the city, you can easily grab ripe figs from trees.
Trebisacce has a train station and is frequented by autobuses from Rome.
The town is easily walkable.
On Sunday there is a market which covers the entire old city.
