Les Trois-Îlets is a resort town in the French overseas territory of Martinique, in the Caribbean. It is home to about 8000 people and known as the birth place of Napoleon's wife Joséphine. Today, it's a popular tourist destination for its good sandy beaches and historic heritage.
Trois Ilets is located just across the bay from Fort-de-France, Martinique's bustling capital. It's easy enough to reach, with regular ferry connections from the capital to several points around Trois Ilets. You can choose to land at Anse Mitan, Pointe du Bout, or Anse à l’Ane. In Trois Ilets, taxis are quite readily available if you want to go further than you care to walk.
