A UFO is an unidentified flying object. UFOs have been sighted throughout history and around the world (as well as in outer space by astronauts). While the vast majority of UFO sightings are explainable (identified flying objects, IFOs), a small number remain unidentified. UFOs are also a cultural phenomenon that has captured the imagination of many people, and visiting sites associated in history or the popular imagination with UFOs can make for a fun vacation.

- Delingha Alien Ruins (德令哈外星人遗址). In this remote corner of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, there is a cave containing a network of mysterious pipes known as the Baigong pipes. The pipes have been dated to about 150,000 years ago, long before humans could build such structures, and this had led some people to theorize that the pipes are the work of aliens. Skeptics, on the other hand, contend that the pipes are merely fossilized tree roots. 2022-10-27
