  • Vejen Kunstmuseum, Østergade 4, 55.47734°, 9.13966°, +45 76 33 81 00, museum@vejen.dk. 10:00 - 16:00. A small museum, with a permanent collection of art from 1900 and after. The main focus is on the sculptor Niels Hansen Jacobsen who not only was the reason the museum was built, but who also lived at the museum after 1924. Outside the museum is an impressive fountain with a troll and several gargoyles, which has become the trademark of the city. free
  • Troldeparken, Rosengade 38A, 55.47545°, 9.14703°. A troll-themed park in Vejen with a large playground and an enclosure with goats. Behind the playground is a forest with a large enclosure with deer. The park hosts a collection of large and interesting rocks, called "The singing rocks". free
  • Museet på Sønderskov, Sønderskovgårdvej 2 (Brørup), 55.45179°, 9.03773°, +45 75383866, post@sonderskov.dk. Tu-Su 11:00-16:00. Sønderskov Manor was first mentioned in 1448 and the present manor house is a Renaissance building built by the nobleman Thomas Juel in 1614-1620. The exhibitions of the museum changes on a monthly basis. Its baroque gardens have been restored, and is used as a kitchen and herb garden tended by local volunteers. Among the flowers, trees and vegetables a school is kept for bee keeping, and the produce can be bought in the museum's shop. free
