Wassenaar (dead link: January 2023) is a town in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. Wassenaar is the richest municipality in the Netherlands, and is attractive as a residence for the wealthy with many grand villas. The private residence of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, his wife, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, and their daughters is located there.
Wassenaar is about 10 km from The Hague and 51 km from Amsterdam. It is easily accessible via the N44/A44.
