Alamo is a small, unincorporated town located between Walnut Creek and Danville in Contra Costa County, California, USA.
Take I-680 north from Pleasanton or the Silicon Valley to the Danville area.
The most popular form of transportation other than a car is a bicycle. A lot of people ride their bikes around town, and especially up in the Las Trampas Hills. This is a moderate hill for bicyclists.
Alamo does not have many important sights to see, but one of the town's interesting sights is the plastic horse on top of the Alamo Shoe Repair 📍. During the holiday season, the horse has a wreath on its neck.
