Keuruu is a town in Central Finland, Finland.
In the 19th century, the town grew rapidly with industry. The Keuruu net factory was established in 1845 and was one of the largest factories in Finland. Later, a paper mill and other industrial enterprises were also established in the town.
After the Second World War, Keuruu continued to grow, with the establishment of farm shops and construction companies, among others. The town also has a large agricultural sector, and the importance of the countryside has remained strong to this day.
Keuruu and Haapamäki have railway stations, direct connections are available from Tampere, Jyväskylä and Seinäjoki. Timetables are available from VR website.
