Kitula - village in Salo, Finland

Kitula (also known as Suomusjärvi) is a rural village and former administrative center of the Suomusjärvi municipality in Finland Proper, today part of Salo.

Regional road 110 (known as the Old Turku Road) runs through the village, which serves as the main street (known as the Helsinki Road) in the centre of the village. Highway 1 (E18) between Turku and Helsinki runs 1 km north of the village. The former parish village of Suomusjärvi (Suomusjärvi kk) is 3 km farther towards Helsinki along road 110, then 1.5 km to the south.
