Nyika National Park is a national park in Malawi, right next to the Nyika Plateau National Park in Zambia. With 3200 km² it is Malawi's biggest national park.
Nyika means "where the water comes from".
The park has one of the greatest leopard densities in Central Africa.
During the rainy season over 200 different types of orchids are blooming.
You can fly into the park if you're staying at Chelinda Lodge. Otherwise you will need to rent a 4x4 and drive from Mzuzu (about 6 hours on terrible roads) or Lilongwe (about 12 hours, half on paved).
