There is more than one place called L.A.:
- Las Anod - A city in Somalia that was once a capital of the Egyptian empire.
- Los Angeles - A city in the state of California.
- Louisiana, an American state that has the postal abbreviation of LA.
- Lower Allston, the portion of the Boston neighborhood of Allston lying north of Interstate 90, is somewhat jocularly called "LA" by locals.
